Utilizing the latest innovations in the Datacard® MX Series Platform, allpay will now be able to turn “blank” cards & carriers into vibrant, lithoquality cards attached to fully personalized color carriers all in one step.
Datacard Group, the world leader in secure ID and card personalization solutions, today announced that allpay Card Services, an established and fast-growing independent card bureau and manufacturer based in the U.K., has selected the Datacard® MX Series Platform for its next-generation card personalization and delivery solutions – optimizing its client services offerings with highly personalized cards and carriers.
Utilizing the Datacard® MX6100™ card issuance system with the Artista® VHD retransfer color printing module, allpay Card Services will be issuing bank and prepaid cards with personalized and unique card designs; as well as the MXD™ card delivery system for full-color card carriers that can be printed on-demand. This eliminates the need for predesigned card and carrier stock and ultimately reduces inventory costs.
In the past, allpay’s payment card process required a ‘rainbow deck’ preparation for the daily batches which was a labor intensive process and required holding large stocks of preprinted cards and carriers. The Datacard® solution overcomes these issues by allowing allpay to have a single stock of both “blank” cards and carriers; allowing all work to be produced in a single batch. This brings significant efficiency gains in operational processes and provides the customer with a professional and fully personalized service. The solution also builds on the existing standards of quality and security helping allpay meet PCI DSS compliance, as well as other payment scheme accreditations.
“allpay thoroughly reviewed all of the equipment available from the various suppliers, and we ultimately chose the Datacard MX series equipment because it is the only fully automated high speed system that meets allpay’s stringent requirements for print and personalization quality, reliability and security all in one inline process,” said Marshall Haldane, operations director at allpay. “We are pleased to announce this order placement for multiple systems to be supplied by Datacard Group and look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship in the coming years as we continue our rapid growth in the banking and financial services sector.”
